Steel Bridge Team Outreach

A few weeks ago, the Steel Bridge Team went to Houghton Elementary's 4th grade class to give a presentation and hold a workshop.  They presented information pertaining to what civil engineers do, different types of bridges, a brief description of the team, and went over the importance of safety in any occupation.

Throughout the event the CEE student team stressed that good study habits begin in grade school which will help them later in life. The workshop focused on team work and problem solving, as several Steel Bridge team members assisted students in the construction last years bridge.
