CE Graduate Seminar Series – Fall, 2012
Thursday, September 6, 4:05 pm @ Room 641 Dow

Speaker: Dr. Dale Tahtinen, Michigan Tech Vice President
Seminar Title: Civil and Environmental Engineers Interaction with Legislative Process

Dr. Dale Tahtinen will speak on the interactions possible between civil and environmental engineers and both state and federal legislators. He will also discuss how we (engineers) can be most effective in influencing legislation. I'm sure that some of his commentary will raise questions, and he has requested that questions from the audience can be raised at any time. Dr. Tahtinen has a great deal of experience interacting with elected and appointed officials ranging from the President of the United States to state staff members.
