The Lee and Arleta Bernson Student Success Center provides an area where faculty and students can come together
to share ideas. In general, this is an informal setting allowing
for more one-on-one problem solving.
This
room houses state-of-the-art presentation tools, library shelves
for the storage of journals and theses, and round tables with
comfortable seating for the discussion and development of
data and presentations.
The
Bernson Student Success Center may be used by students in
formal study groups, faculty/student led presentations, or
by individual/groups of students in informal settings such
as for the reading of technical papers or student meetings.
Students using this area learn to problem solve in group meetings
and as a result develop skills needed for team problem-solving
in the corporate world. This laboratory is open for the use
by all Civil and Environmental Engineering students. |
