Yu Liu is a PhD candidate in Civil Engineering at Michigan Technological University. He has attained a broad education in Civil Engineering, including structural Engineering for his B.S degree, Geotechnical Engineering for his M.S degree, and Pavement for his PhD degree. His current research focus is mainly on mechanical behaviors of pavement materials. His research objective is to better understand asphalt concrete mechanics using experimental tests, theoretical analysis, and numerical modeling. His research works have been published or presented in journal papers, conference papers, posters, and presentations. See Publication List and Presentation List.
