Our group is looking to recruit undergraduate, master's, and Ph.D. students that are interested in learning and conducting research in concrete pavements, materials, and sustainable development of our transportation infrastructure.

Prospective M.S. and Ph.D. Students: We always looking for outstanding students who are interested in pursuing a graduate education in civil engineering at Michigan Technological University. Funding in the form of tuition, stipend, and benefits is available through funded research projects, fellowships, and support of the MTU graduate school. Interested students are encouraged to contact me at

Prospective Undergraduate Researchers: Research opportunities for undergraduates at Michigan Tech are also avilable to work on sponsored research projects. Students can get a hands-on look at conducting scientific research in transportation infrastruture-related projects, provide a great resume builder for industry or graduate work, and earn money while working to earn your bachelor's degree. Students that are interested in continuing research over the summer semester are particularly encourgaed. Contact me at for more details.
