Course Description

The goal of this class is to expose students to problem solving using industry standard software applications, such as Civil3D. The focus of the class will be on problems involving planning and design of civil and environmental engineering projects, including terrain modeling using surveyed point data, earth work calculations and pavement alignment design. Students will also be introduced to concepts involving data management, data visualization and risk analysis, specifically in the context of CEE decision-making.
