Dow Environmental Science and Engineering Building

Constructed at a cost of $45 million, the 167,000 square foot Dow Environmental Sciences and Engineering Building was opened in 1998. The Dow presently houses the Departments of Biological Sciences, Civil and Environmental Engineering and Geological Sciences and Engineering. Facilities include multimedia classrooms, teaching and research laboratories, learning centers, meeting rooms and public facilities. The project was made possible through the generosity of the Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow Foundation, the Ford Motor Company, and others.
