This summer Michigan Tech will have hosted 1200 seventh-twelfth grade students on campus for 1-4 weeks of hands on programming. 53% of the pre-college students are female, about 40% are otherwise underrepresented in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields. The support of the academic departments on campus is what makes these programs possible.
