This
summer Michigan Tech will have hosted 1200 seventh-twelfth grade
students on campus for 1-4 weeks of hands on programming. 53% of
the pre-college students are female, about 40% are otherwise underrepresented
in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields.
The support of the academic departments on campus is what makes
these programs possible.
