On February 20, 2007, almost 100 Michigan Tech students, faculty and administration participated in the 2nd Annual Railroad Night. 

Railroad Night was an opportunity to meet the representatives of the North American railway industry who had come to the Winter Job Fair to meet and recruit students for employment.

This year, a record eight companies from the rail industry, with more than 180,000 employees, were participating in and sponsoring the event.
