CN Rail Transportation Education Center at Michigan Tech:

CN Rail Transportation Education Center (CN RTEC) was officially opened on February 16th, 2010. The Center was made possible due to generous donation by CN. CN RTEC becomes the central location for rail activities at Michigan Tech University and includes library of rail reference and promotional materials, four workstations (two of them due to generous donation by IBM) and meeting space for student work. It will also include a technology hub for web conferences and broadcasts. The Opening Ceremony included speeches by Matthew Glynn, Chief Engineer, Signals and Communications, CN (1981 Michigan Tech graduate) and by David Reed, VP Research at Michigan Tech and Pasi Lautala, Director or Rail Transportation Program.
