Instruments!


All of the scientific instruments in use at MTU's Radiometer Site are manufactured by Yankee Environmental Systems, Inc. The two radiometers are the Multi-Filter Rotating Shadowband Radiometer and the Sun Photometer for the UV region. Both radiometers are connected to the Data Acquisition System.

The radiometers are connected to a Sparc 1 Station made by Sun Microsystems. The connection is made via a 100 ft. null modem cable made by Black Box Corporation.
