Dr.
Watkins' teaching interests include water resources planning
and management, environmental systems analysis, hydrologic
and hydraulic engineering, fluid mechanics, engineering
economics, and numerical methods. His research interests
include the application of decision theory and information
technology to water resource problems characterized by
uncertainty and conflicting objectives. Dr. Watkins is
active in the ASCE Water Resources Systems and Operations
Management Committees. He has published in the Journal
of Water Resources Planning & Management, Advances
in Water Resources, Water International, and Water Resources
Bulletin.
