Hi! This is Milagros. I’m from the other end of US 41. I love to laugh, dance, and leisurely read. Some may wonder why I would go from extreme hot (Miami) to extreme cold (Houghton). No, I’m not an extremist. Let’s just say…there is method behind the madness. Why the Master’s International program? As a graduating senior, I found myself in the “Oh my God, I’m graduating and I don’t know what to do with my life!” category. I wanted to get a Master’s. I wanted to do something in engineering. I wanted to leave the states for a while and experience another culture. And I wanted to make a difference to someone. So I was praying for guidance, when one day, God sent me a neon sign. It said “Redefine Your World.” So that’s what I’m doing!
