Kaitlin Green, BS Environmental Engineering, University of Delaware, Planned MS in Environmental Engineering

Kaitlin grew up outside of Boston, MA where she spent summers on Cape Cod, falls cheering on the Red Sox, winters skiing in Vermont, and springs playing lacrosse.  Her college years took her down the east coast to the mid-Atlantic where she studied environmental engineering in the glorious 1st state at the University of Delaware.  After a few summers living at the beach, another few working in Boston, and a study abroad quest through Australia that opened her eyes to world travel, this thrill-seeking lover of the outdoors felt that at age 22 a 9 to 5 office job just wasn’t for her.  So up to Houghton she trekked to pursue a Master’s Degree and to join the Peace Corps, putting her engineering education to worldly use.  Come January this little environmentalist hopes to trade in her Uggs for some flip flops and be assigned to some tropical exotic locale, working in a village, providing water treatment and spreading her passion for the Red Sox to wherever the Peace Corps may take her.
