James Dumpert, BS Environmental Resource and Forest Engineering, State University of New College in Syracuse, New York, MS planned in Environmental Engineering.

James Dumpert received his bachelor of science in Environmental Resource and Forest Engineering from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse New York.

He joined the MI program at Michigan Tech in order to help him become a more effective Peace Corps volunteer. Within the MI program, James has found many niches of interest that are worth pursuing -- namely those subjects that fall under the category of Sustainable Development.

Currently James has no preference to where he is assigned. He has come to realize that no matter where you are in the world, oversees or in your hometown, there is need for sustainability to be developed, practiced, and promoted.
