Why Michigan Tech?

Beth Myre graduated from THE Ohio State University with majors in Linguistics and German, and minors in Russian and International Economic Development. After volunteering with several organizations helping refugees and disaster survivors, she decided that she wanted to do water and sanitation work in refugee camps. She sold her grown-up furniture, moved back in with her parents, and went back to school. Now she is happily pursuing an M.S. in Environmental Engineering at Michigan Tech in the MI program, and is grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing people.

If Beth can make the transition from the humanities to engineering, so can you!
