Ed Stewart graduated from Mississippi State University in 1987 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He has worked as an engineer, missionary, salesman, administrator and laborer. He is a candidate for the Masters of Science in Environmental Engineering at Michigan Technological University with an emphasis in water and waste water treatment. Hobbies include surfing.
