Recent Events

• General Meeting #1
  The first general meeting introduced students to the Michigan Tech ITE student chapter and ITE International. Potential activities for the school year were discussed and executives were appointed.
• General Meeting #2
  The new ITE promotional video was shown and members were made aware of the tentative schedule outlined by the executive board. Feedback was obtained in regard to potential tours of Minneapolis/St. Paul, the Houghton/Hancock lift bridge, and the Mackinaw Bridge.
• Houghton County Road Commission Tour
  On November 7th, the ITE Student Chapter toured the Houghton County Road Commission and were introduced to their procedures for winter snow removal.
• General Meeting #3
  A video was shown to help students become acquainted with things they need to know about winter driving. The proposed trip to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area has been cancelled due to a lack of interest.
• General Meeting #4
  The Chapter discussed involvement in Spring Fling. We also went over some issues for improving the structure of the organization (e.g. funding, recruiting, etc.)
