Welcome to Chi Epsilon at Michigan Tech!

Chi Epsilon is a national honor society which was organized in 1922 at the University of Illinois to recognize students that excel in the fundamental qualities of the successful civil/environmental engineer, and who would use their abilities constructively in advancing the civil and environmental engineering profession. Although Chi Epsilon is a National Civil Engineering honor sociey, it recognizes Environmental Engineering as an allied profession and welcomes both civil and environmental engineering students as members.

The Michigan Tech chapter was established in 1948 as the 21st chapter (of 133 total). Nationally, Chi Epsilon has initiated over 100,000 members since its founding.
