Tickets are on sale now for the Second Annual Railroad Night on Feb. 20, 6-9 p.m., at the Spica Restaurant (known as Northern Lights). The event is hosted by Railroad Engineering and Activities Club (REAC) at Michigan Tech

The event includes a social hour with cash bar, a panel discussion between industry representatives and a dinner buffet. Admission is for free REAC members, $5 for other students. All disciplines are welcome. Tickets will be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Memorial Union Commons Feb. 2, the Dillman lobby Feb. 5 and the Memorial Union Commons Feb. 6. Last year approximately 60 students, faculty and administrators participated in the event. Railroad Night is an opportunity to meet the representatives of the North American railway industry who have come to the Winter Job Fair to meet and recruit students for employment.

This year, a record eight companies from the rail industry, with more than 180,000 employees, are participating in and sponsoring the event.
