Michigan Construction Career Days were held near Lansing to attract students to the construction and transportation industries and college programs. Over 2000 Michigan 8th-11th graders participated. Michigan Tech Transportation Center for Materials in Sustainable Transportation Infrastructure (UTC-MiSTI) was a major sponsor. The purpose is to inspire students to embrace sustainable solutions to help the industry within Michigan and across the nation design, construct, maintain and repair transportation infrastructure.
