Groundwater & Subsurface Remediation

environmental engineering

The Groundwater and Subsurface Remediation graduate program spans several departments and disciplines at Michigan Tech.

Groundwater-related coursework and research address issues of contaminant fate and transport as well as engineering aspects of subsurface remediation and water quality protection. The program is highly interdisciplinary.

Students and faculty from the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering and Sciences, Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, and the School of Forestry interact in joint projects and classes.
