Opened in 1998 the 167,000 sq ft Dow Building contains the departmental office, faculty and graduate student offices, environmental engineering research and teaching laboratories, multimedia classrooms, a student learning center, computer facilities, meeting rooms and many public spaces. It also houses the Geological Engineering and Sciences, and Biological Sciences departments to facilitate multidisciplinary environmental research.
