Engineering Computing Facilities
Infrastructure
The Department
has excellent computing facilities for both undergraduate and graduate
student use. Six departmental computing laboratories, including the
Thomas J. Rentenbach CEE Computing Lab, contain well over 100 networked
computers including more than 50 Sun Sparc1/1+/2, Sparc 10 and Sparc
20 workstations, and more than 70 pentium class personal computers.
A full-time
professional systems administrator, two full-time computing support
specialists, and a team of student assistants facilitate the operation
of the computer laboratories.
