| This is
an analytical support facility for the analyses of environmental samples
via wet test methods such as total organic carbon, spectrometric determinations,
and electrochemical analyses. These methods are extremely common throughout
all laboratories in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department
and as such require a support area to develop methods and service
instruments. The existence of this lab minimizes the duplication of these analytical tools as instruments can be shared among labs and supported by one dedicated lab. |
