The Department has excellent computing facilities for both undergraduate and graduate student use.

The six departmental computing laboratories, including the Thomas J. Rentenbach CEE Computing Lab, contain well over 100 new (2005) networked computers offering the the latest in software applications.

A full-time professional systems administrator, two full-time computing support specialists, and a team of student assistants facilitate the operation of the computer laboratories.

Most of our labs have been outfitted with Dell OptiPlex GX280s, which sport an Intel Pentium 4 operating at 3.4 GHz and 1GB of system memory, are paired with 17” flat panel displays.

The Engineering Fundamentals machines however, have a 19” monitor.
Large format printing (posters, blueprints, etc) is available.

The labs 101, 203, and 211 all have printing facilities, and 211 also offers color laser printing.
