Hydraulic Engineer, USACE Hydrologic Engineering Center, Davis, CA: Applied systems analysis techniques to support a number of Corps operations and feasibility studies, including Upper Mississippi Basin flood control, Sacramento River Basin flood control, Panama Canal operations, and water supply planning in South and Central Florida. Assisted in the development of next-generation reservoir system analysis programs for optimal flood control and multipurpose reservoir operations. Coordinated and conducted training courses and workshops on flood warning systems and water resources systems analysis.
Spring 1999. Lecturer, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, University of California at Davis: Taught an upper division course titled, "Deterministic Optimization and Design," which introduced students to mathematical programming techniques and their application to a broad range of civil and environmental engineering design problems.
